Global Focus is dedicated to spreading the word of Jesus around the world. We share inspiring testimonies from missionaries and provide opportunities for individuals to support our mission through donations. Additionally, we offer a range of Global Focus apparel to help raise awareness and support our cause.
We believe that every personal testimony has the power to inspire and uplift others.
Thankful
I am so thankful for the opportunity that Global Focus Ministry has made available for myself and others. We have had an amazing experience sharing the love of Jesus all over the world. We have been able to see salvations and miracles that only God can do! I’ve been able to be a part of a team that has provided medical needs, clothing, food, and better living conditions. The relationships that I have been blessed with through this ministry are so loving and truly life changing!
Thank you Global Focus Ministry

Connections Made
Even though we can show you pictures and tell you of our experiences, it will still be hard to comprehend the love we have for these people and the love they have for us. From the moment we stepped off the bus, we were welcomed with cheers and excitement. Those we had met before were so happy to see us again. We spent the week immersing ourselves in the lives of these wonderful people. We walked through their communities and prayed with them. We were invited into their homes. We laughed with them, and we cried with them. We did life with them for five days. But we built relationships that will last through this lifetime. We became familiar, family. From the older women who loved on us and embraced us, and took care of everything for us, to the women who spent so much time cooking us all our meals while singing praise songs, to the children who held our hands and were in our laps every second they could be, to the men who we worked alongside of, to the leaders that were with us helping is understand and communicate every step of the way. See, we could have been a group that came on, did some work around the church, and helped them out financially. But we wanted nothing more than that. These people wanted nothing more than to spend time with us. To build relationships with us. To support us and love on us. When it's all said and done, that's what this all comes down to. Love. IT's about showing the love of Jesus to those around you, whether at home or in a place where you don't even speak the same language. True Godly love passes all barriers and boundaries of this earthly world. Through translators and through our translating apps, we were able to communicate, but it was through hugs, prayers, and worship that God's love was exchanged. Freely given and freely received.

Dominican Leaders
Tony: God Bless you. This missionary tip was extraordinary. I saw how God spoke into my life through each of the members, being so obedient and responding to the call to love souls without limits and share the love of Jesus with others. I also saw the way the church members welcomed the missionaries, breaking the barriers of different languages. In conclusion, I understood that it is the sign of what will happen in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Eliezer: It was a privilege to work a long side with this team from Beulah Church, I can't not put into words what I experienced this past week. I learned that the best blessing we can have is when we are a blessing to other through sharing the gospel. Dear Beulah Church ministry, it's so rewarding to see the way you guys are doing, this team is special, and I admire every single one of y'all so much. Thank you for standing by my side through all of the emotions that came this past week. I could not have asked the Lord for a better group of people to spread his world with. I consider you all my family and I could not have expected how close we become and the comfort we found in each other. Mattew 28:19-20

What This Trip Meant To You
-
I wanted to go on this mission trip to be a blessing to others. What I didn't expect was the blessing I would receive in return. I left with an extended family and my heart full of joy. I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience this trip with my husband alongside me even though I had to nag him to go.

So, so many feels! To see the faces of people hungry for more, not food but that might have been too, but just hungry for the word, hungry for love and attention and just to know that they are seen, that they are heard! It was such a blessing to be there and be part of helping show the love of Jesus! Happy, sad and all things in between! My heart will not be the same. Before we left Eli thanked me for coming to bless their community, but I stand by what I told him through tears running down my face, they blessed me more than they will ever know!

Psalms 133:1 says, "how pleasant is it when brothers live together in harmony." That is really what this week felt like. When it comes to harmony, it takes all the parts working together and doing their part to make the perfect sounds. That couldn't describe more what this week was. Everyone from the Americans to the Dominicans serving together. Everyone doing their part. No grand gestures, just simple and pure love. Our teams joined together to make the perfect sound for Heaven's sake.

"You Are Happy, But You Are Losing"
While some were playing softball, against almost pros, the rest of us were cheering form the stands. Every time our time did something great, we would hoot and holler with joy. A lady came by and said, "you are happy, but you are losing." We all just laughed. To be honest, I was not happy, I wanted to play. It made me think. There was a season in my life when everything looked good. I had what I wanted. My plans didn't go as planned, but I smiled in every picture. People told me I was doing great and asked how I was always so happy and positive. But deep inside, I was losing. I had become quiet. Losing peace, Losing the quiet closeness I once had with God. It wasn't obvious from the outside, but my soul was tired. I just wanted that ice cream. I became really good at preforming, showing joy without actually having it. I chased comfort, success, and approval, but none of it filled the emptiness that had quietly grown in my heart. When going on the trip to the Dominican Republic to visit some of the poorest villages, you see kids running barefoot or with shoes that don't fit, home that barely have floors, families living with so little, and kids playing with bike tires and sticks, with smiles on their faces. Although I had noticed these things before, this phare hit differently. Their joy hit me. Their happiness is true winning. These communities had nothing but praise and worship for God. People were saved and healed with nothing but the love and knowledge of Jesus.
Happing and Winning = Jesus is Enough
This remined me of something I had lost. I had comfort, but they had contentment. I had happiness, but they had hoy. I had plans, but they had peace.
Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Changed By Their Joy
I was blown away by the joy the people in the Dominican Republic had. The first home I went into it became very clear just how much the people there depended on God. They had the bare minimum needed to survive. They could've asked us to pray for a number of things but instead asked to remain in their faith in God. They had an unexplainable joy. These people had nothing but they had Jesus. And that was enough for them to be joyful. We have so much stuff, we have more than we need, and we still don't have that much joy. I came back with a humbled heart and a fresh perspective on life. I am more grateful for the little things that God has blessed me with, and I am quicker to catch myself when I want to complain about something. Saying that the people I met over there changed my life is an understatement. They impacted me more than I could have ever impacted them.

Dominican Leaders
Kikto: God Bless you! For me, this trip means the beginning of a revival because just seeing how many people accepted. God into their hearts with this missionary team, I could see how God is with you. On the other hand, our church is very motivated by this missionary trip. The day after you left for the United States, they ask me when you're coming back. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to lead this beautiful missionary trip. We hope God allows us to work together always. God bless you. Thank you for loving out church.
Pastor Eddy: May God abundantly bless each of the missionaries who were in our congregation and community. Receive greetings from each one of us and from the congregation. We thank Pastor Rick Morrow and his church, Beulah Church. We also thank each of the group leaders, Ben, Jasmine and Sam, and each of those who accompanied them. Their arrival in our church and community has always been very pleasant. We recognize that you are people who love God, love missions, and give love to every person with whom you share. For us, it has always been a very beautiful experience to share with you, as you make us feel like a family. We want you to know that you are family here. We thank you for the work you are doing in our congregation. It is a quality time to share with you. We also thank you for blessing us spiritually when you share the Word of God with the church and with the children of our community. You could see the joy on each child's face. Thank you, my beloved brothers. We hope to see you soon. Your brother, Pastors Eddy and Yvelisse De Pena
